Form Oxford

On 26 May, I went to Oxford.
The main purpose is to visit Christ Church.
There is the hall which is a model of the dining room in the film of Harry Potter.
Unfortunately, however, it was closed...oh, dear;(
So, I'll go there again!

５月２６日、オックスフォードに行った
オックスフォードに行く主な目的はクライスト・チャーチを訪れること！
そこには、ハリー・ポッターのダイニングルームのモデルになったホールがある
しかし、残念なことに、その日だけクライストチャーチは閉まっていた・・・
なんてこった(´；ω；｀)
クライストチャーチに行かなきゃ意味がない!
ってことで、来月にでもまた行きます

After waking around the church, I went to Alice's Shop.
Do you know why there is the shop in Oxford?　
The author of Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll taught math in Oxford uni.
He wrote the literature for the headteacher's daughter, Alice.
I bought pretty things there.

クライスト・チャーチの周りを歩いた後、アリス・ショップに行った
あまり知られていないだろうから、ここで不足説明を。
「不思議の国のアリス」の著者である、ルイス・キャロルは
オックスフォード大学で数学を教えていた。
彼は校長の娘である、アリスのためにその物語を書いたのである
そこにはアリスグッツがたくさん♡
ちなみに私はトランプとスノーボールを買いました。
あ。自分のためにね←

After that, I went to a Japanese restaurant, Edamame.
I ate chicken-karaage tesyoku.
It was really delicious:)

そのあと、日本食レストラン、「えだまめ」で昼ごはんを食べた
唐揚げ定食、美味しくいただきました(*´∀｀*)

ロングホリデイ（５日）が来週にあります
なぜなら、今年はエリザベス女王即位６０周年（ダイヤモンド・ジュビリー）だからです!
ちなみにダイヤモンド・ジュビリーを迎える英国王・女王は
今までで１人しかいないみたいです
ロングホリデーを利用して、スコットランドに行ってきまーす♫

From Birmingham

On 20 May, I went shopping in Birmingham.
It is cold in Coventry, so I wanted a parka and went to GAP.
However,  it was more expensive than I expected and I couldn't buy it;(
I have to stand cold!

５月２０日、バーミンガムにショッピングに行った
私の住んでいるコベントリーはとても寒いので、私はパーカーが欲しくなりＧＡＰに行った
しかし、パーカーは予想より高かった・・・(日本円で５０００円くらい)
そんな金額払えないので、これからも寒さを我慢しなくては!!

I also went to a chocolate factory, Cadbury World, and it is like a theme park.

It cost about ￡11, and it was a little expensive;(
However, the factory is worth going to.
This is because we can taste chocolate, get it for nothing, and buy discounted it!
I ate it too much, so I don't want to eat it for the time being.

工場といってもテーマパークのような所
入場料は１１ポンドと、ちょいとお高いが行く価値はある！
なぜならチョコの試食ができ、無料でチョコももらえて、通常より安い値段でチョコを買える!!
昨日は「これでもか！」ってくらいチョコを食べたので、当分の間は食べたくないです・・・

From Salisbury

On 12 May, I went to Salisbury.
It is famous for Stonehenge.
As you know, Stonehenge is one of heritage heritages.
It was built thousands years ago.
There are a lot of reasons why it was built and ways that it was built.

５月１２日、ストーンヘンジで有名なソールズベリに行った。
みなさんもご存じのようにストーンヘンジは世界遺産であり、何千年も前につくられた。
なぜつくられたのか、どのようにつくられたのかについては諸説あるようだ。

I also went to Salisbury Cathedral.
Before coming to England, I wanted to go to a lot of cathedrals.
So, my dream came true:)
I could take an interesting picture!

ソールズベリ大聖堂にも行った
留学前に、大聖堂めぐりをしたいと思っていたので夢が叶った☆
面白い写真も撮れました!

I almost forgot!
I went to Old Sarum.
There used to be a cathedral and fort.

忘れるところだった!
オールドセーラムにも行ってきました
かつて大聖堂と城砦があった場所です。

Stratford-upon-Avon

On 6 May, I went to Stratford-upon-Avon, where Shakespeare was born.
It is a small town, but there were a lot of people.
I bought a ticket for three place, Shakespeare's Birthplace, Nash's House and New Place, and Hall's Croft.
In Shakespeare's Birthplace, you can learn about his and its history.

５月６日、シェークスピアの故郷であるストラットフォード・アポン・エイボンに行った。
小さい村であるが、たくさんの人でいっぱい！
私はシェークスピアの生まれた家、ナッシュの家とニュープレイス、ホールズ・クロフトの３か所を行くことができる共通券を買った：）
シェークスピアの生まれた家では彼と、その家の歴史についてまなぶことができる

In Nash's House, Shakespeare's granddaughter, Elizabeth and her husband lived.
New Place is the place where Shakespeare spent his later life.

ナッシュの家に、シェークスピアの孫娘エリザベスと彼女の夫が住んでいた。
ニュープレイスはシェークスピアが晩年を過ごした場所である

In Hall's Croft, Shakespeare's daughter, Susanna and her husband lived.

ホールズ・クロフトにシェークスピアの娘スザンナと彼女の夫が住んでいた。

If you visit Holy Trinity Church, you will see the grave of Shakespeare.

In Canterbury

I went to Canterbury on 5 May.

Do you know the town?

It is famous for Canterbury Tales written by Chaucer. 

First, I went to Canterbury Cathedral. 

５月５日、カンタベリーに行った。

カンタベリーを知っているだろうか？

カンタベリーはチョーサーが書いた、カンタベリー物語で有名である。

まず最初にカンタベリー大聖堂に行った。

It is said that the cathedral is the nearest to the heaven in England.

It was very beautiful and grand.

その大聖堂はイングランドで最も天国に近い場所と言われている。

美しく、壮大な建物である。

Second, I went to The Canterbury Tales Visitor Attraction.

You can enjoy a lot of stories of Canterbury Tales there.

However, it was a little scary, like that;

次にカンタベリー物語アトラクションに行った。

そこではカンタベリー物語の中のお話を楽しめる。

しかし、ちょっと不気味かも・・・

In London

I went to London on 28 April.
It takes about an hour by train from Coventry to London.
First, I went to British Museum.

４月２８日、ロンドンに行った。
コベントリーからロンドンまでは電車で約１時間。
最初に大英博物館に行った。

There are a lot of important arts, for example, Rosetta Stone, The Bust of Amenhotep Ⅲ, and The Statue of Shiva.
The Museum is very big, and I wasn't able to see all;(

大英博物館にはロゼッタストーン、アメンホテプ３世の胸像、シヴァ神の像など、貴重な芸術品が沢山ある。
とても広い博物館なので、すべてを見ることはできなかった・・・


Second, I went to Sherlock Holmes Museum.


次にシャーロック・ホームズミュージアムに行った。

Everything is real, so I felt as if Sherlock Holmes is real.
In the Museum, people can take a picture with wearing Sherlock Holmes' cap.

すべてがリアルにできていて、まるでホームズが実在していたかのように感じた。
彼の帽子をかぶって写真を撮ることもできます!!

Finally, I went to King's Cross Station.
It is famous for platform No. 9 3/4, used in the film of Harry Potter.
A lot of people made a line in order to take a picture like this.

最後にキングズ・クロス・ステーションに行った!
そこはハリーポッターでもおなじみ、９と４分の３番線のプラットホームがある駅だ!
多くの人が写真を撮るために列を作っていた。
